Elizabeth & Callum at the Dalmeny Hotel, Lytham St Annes

I loved shooting Elizabeth and Callum's wedding last month. The couple celebrated their big day at The Dalmeny Hotel in , Lancashire. I was ecstatic to photograph my first wedding in this superb location in Lytham St Annes and great for any wedding. Thank you to all the staff for making me feel so welcome, I look forward to more wedding photography there again. One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing the iconic sea front anbd prom shots. I shot Elizabeth and Callum's both enjoying the early evening whilst the atmosphere got more and more relaxed. 

There's some real advantages to getting married in Autumn. The lemon light of the slow sun in the sky the crisp air and fallen laeves makes for some nice wedding images. But having an Autumn wedding also comes with its disadvantages, the rain, the rain and the rain. The morning was very wet but in the end we got very lucky as the weather broke and the sun came out just intime for the newley weds portraits.

All the guests were keen not to miss the speeches. Every speech is unique and I never get bored of shooting them. The day ended with Elizabeth and Callum and their guests rocking the dance floor. Elizabeth and Callum wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I had shot and I wish them heartfelt congratulations.

They got married at Lytham St Anne's landmark white church and we of course couldn't resist doing some photos next to the beautiful spire!!

This was a fantastic Autumn wedding and we made sure we got some lovely portraits of the newly weds, so we took a short walk round the beautiful Lytham St Annes prom and enjoyed a relaxing portrait session together. This was made easy as there are endless opportunities for stunning bridal portraits in and around the sea front and boardwalks. The afternoon turned into what was a perfectly sunny day making the light very soft, which really help with the wedding photography.
