These two! I have rarely seen a couple with more love and affection for each other, a couple truly destined to be together. They met while volunteering for the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Mark being an expert on all insects and plants and Helen who is very handy with a chainsaw on a nature reserve. Something, as is so often the case, was just meant to be.
Lancashire Manor Hotel, is a grade II listed building dating back to 1870 and set within stunning gardens to provide the ideal backdrop to capture beautiful wedding photographs. Helen and Mark had a beautiful spring day for their wedding. The sun shone throughout the morning but by the time we were due to capture the group shots the heavens opened, but rain wasn't going to spot this lovely couple from enjoying their special day.
The wedding took place in a beautiful little church followed by a reception at the Lancashire Manor Hotel. The room at the Lancashire Manor Hotel looked amazing and Helen had been up most of the night decorating the room herself !! What a gem of a location, don't overlook this venue, it's absolutely stunning.
The attention to detail that they put into the wedding was fantastic. So much thought went into everything that would make their day theirs, and that would give their guests a wonderful weekend with them.
With best ladies, best men and a wonderful, kind, and thoughtful couple putting their very own spin on the day, it was the sort of wedding that I love to be a part of and consider myself fortunate to be able to work at so many weddings like this.
It was such a great day all round, the bride and groom were very chilled and their wedding guests relaxed, and everyone seemed to have a fantastic time.
