Meet Lauren and Dan. A gorgeous couple who wanted a day that was all about family, friends and celebrating in style.
As family was always at the heart of the wedding, the couple chose the gorgeous Thornton Hall for their big day. Following some insanely bad weather forecasts Lauren did some epic prayers and did sun dances all week in the lead up to the wedding and it actually paid off. Who would have ever foreseen an outdoor wedding, in February, during a week of back to back storms?! If anyone was going to defy the odds, it was this pair and I know we’re all so thrilled that they got their dream day.
I love weddings and being part of such an important day, there are so many stories I can recall and want to tell you all but I know at the end of the day all you want to see is the photos! I’ve popped together a selection from the day for you to have your fill of wedding goodness and I cannot wait to share the full blog and gallery with you all very soon. For now, this will have to do!
Thornton Hall is also a hotel and spa and offer their brides use of the on site salon, this was a stunning location to relax have your hair and makeup done and even a glass of bubbly. The girls were such fun to work with.
Outside the venue itself are plenty of beautiful locations to photograph the bride and groom. From a gorgeous summer house to a gazebo and even a pond, Thornton Hall Hotel and Spa offers a great place to get your wedding photos done.
Thornton Hall hotel and Spa is one of my favourite Wirral wedding venues. Self-contained with spacious accommodation for the newly wed couple to enjoy. Thornton Hall has acres of beautiful grounds and a stunning main wedding ceremony room which floods with natural light, perfect for stunning ceremony photos.
As you can see from my photographs taken during weddings at Thornton Hall it’s surrounded by lovely maintained lawns and rich wooded grounds to the rear creating a romantic woodland walkway and the perfect backdrop for your magical day.
Dan had guests come as far as Gran Canaria to join his school friends from, many of which live in London and Bristol. These lads were mental, Dan had two best men carry out the speeches and laid bare some of Dan's most embarrassing stories and had everyone laughing or reaching for a handkerchief.
I’m a very relaxed North West wedding photographer, no awkward posing or interrupting those natural fun moments that happen and whilst I give suggestions and ideas to get you the best possible set of photographs on the day I remain completely unobtrusive as I capture what’s happening naturally in a creative way. Drop me a line if you wish to discuss your big day.
